Preveza, the capital of the prefecture, has ordinal air connection with Athens via Aktio and there are many charter flights during vacation months except the regular flights. There is a frequent bus connection with Athens, Thessaloniki and other big cities, many cities of Epirus, Thessalia and Patra as well. The inshore national road Preveza – Igoumenitsa connects the two cities (95 km). Preveza is also connected (via Igoumenitsa) with Italy and all Europe.
